Every screen
Apple TV, Android TV, Google TV, Fire TV, Roku, iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, and any web browser. One look everywhere.
Bubo is a media server you run on your own NAS or computer. It organizes your library, plays it on every TV, phone and tablet in the house, and turns your shows into live channels you can flip through.

The comfort of a streaming service, built around the collection you already own.
Apple TV, Android TV, Google TV, Fire TV, Roku, iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, and any web browser. One look everywhere.
Turn your shows into channels that play around the clock, with a guide, time slots and breaks. Channel up and down like cable.
Watch the same movie in step with family on other TVs or phones. Pause, rewind or skip, and everyone follows.
Line up what's next with Play Next and Add to Queue, or shuffle a show or library and let it run all night.
A profile for everyone, each with their own history and Continue Watching. Kids profiles see only what you've picked, and PINs keep them there.
Skip Intro and Skip Credits buttons, and Up Next to roll straight into the next episode.
TVs that can play the original get the original: full 4K, HDR and surround sound, with no loss in quality.
Coming from Plex or Jellyfin? Import what you've watched and where you left off, so nothing starts over.
Built natively for each platform, so it feels at home with each remote.
The apps are in testing now and will arrive in the App Store, Google Play, the Amazon Appstore and the Roku Channel Store.
Bubo runs on a Synology or other NAS, an Unraid box, or a Windows, Mac or Linux computer, as a single Docker container.
Point Bubo at your movies and shows. It finds posters, descriptions, cast and episode details, and keeps up as you add more.
Sign in once on each TV, phone or tablet, choose who's watching, and press play.
Bubo runs in your home and answers only to you. There's no Bubo account to create, no cloud copy of your library, no ads and no tracking. What you watch, and when, never leaves your house.
Away from home, Bubo is meant to be reached over a private, encrypted network that only your own devices can join, so your server never has to face the open internet.
If you can install an app on your NAS, you can run Bubo. Setup is a few steps, and everything after that happens in Bubo's own settings.
It can. Bubo does the same core job of organizing and playing your own media, adds live channels and Watch Together, and can import your watch history from either.
Apple TV 4K, recent Roku, Google TV and Fire TV devices play 4K HDR as is. Phones and tablets that can't decode 4K are told so plainly, rather than left buffering.
Bubo is being tested in a real home on every kind of screen. It will be released once it's ready for yours.
